PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PROGRAM KEGIATAN BERMAIN BERBASIS KECERDASAN JAMAK DALAM RANGKA MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA DINI
ABSTRACT
The objective of the research is to develop a set of models of creative play activity program based on multiple intelligences to increase creativity on early childhood. This study is conducted through research and development method consisting of three phases: (1) pre development phase through survey; (2) model development phase through play activity program based on multiple intelligences theories; and (3) application of model development phase through pre experimental design in the four playgroups.
Research population is all playgroups in DKI Jakarta. When conducting the survey, purposive sampling is used to obtain the playgroups which are approriate with the objective in this research.
The results of this research are: (1) it is found that no playgroup has developed and implemented activity program based on multiple intelligences to increase creativity on early childhood so that the developed model is a new innovation in Jakarta; (2) a set of model of activity programs based on multiple intelligences including its instructional design for early childhood; (3) the implementation of the model shows that the model can increase the children’ creativity according to the indicators that have been determined in the program.
The implication of the research indicates that the development of instructional model based on the multiple intelligences can improve the children who become more creative. This model may become an instructional model for the playgroups in Jakarta and in other similar institutions.
